Upcoming Events - Term 3 2015

Artsplash Dance Event

When: Thursday 3rd September 2015

Where: The Michael Fowler Centre, Wellington

Tickets are on sale for $5 from the school office.

This year the Artsplash Dance group consists of 33 children from the Kauri syndicate.  The theme is 'Street Busking' and the concept is that live entertainment is much better than playing games or texting on a device.

9.45am - School band with Ryan

11am - Senior singing group with Ryan

11.45 - KK Sound singing group (Years 5-8)

1.30pm - Artsplash Dance Group with Mrs Edwards

Performing Arts 2014

Here's a brief explanation of what's happening this year:

Advanced Ukulele group with Mr Young

Beginner Ukulele group with Mrs Edwards

Dance group with Mrs Edwards - They're working towards our Artsplash Dance 2014 entry.

Percussion / Stomp group with Mrs Edwards - They're working towards a performance piece which will be shown for the first time at the year 7/8 Wearable Arts Show in Term 3.

School band with Ryan and Mrs Edwards - Jake T is now the band's leader and is working with the group to rehearse on a regular basis and work towards two songs which they can perform live.

KK Sound singing group with Ryan - the singing group will be recording the school song and teaching it to the rest of the school.
